Obstacles affect everyone differently, from the aspiring entrepreneurs to even the greatest business leaders. In fact, it's the one thing that is for certain that when you seek to achieve a certain goal - you will be facing obstacles. However what is the best way to deal with obstacles?

As the late Jim Rohn said, "you can never control the wind- but you can always adjust your sails". The key is having the right attitude towards obstacles - remember most entrepreneurs didn't just win. They faced, obstacle after obstacle as can be seen from the image below but the difference is they just kept moving forward as persistence is the key.
However, you can also view it this way; there are always different ways to look at an obstacle or a failure; if you fail once, you get to learn and try again. Failures help you understand what to change in the future. A great example of this is Thomas Edisson. It took him 10,000 attempts before he successfully invented the light bulb. When he was interviewed by a reporter and asked how he felt about failing 9,999 times he responded with: "I have not failed 10,000 times. I have not failed once. I have succeeded in proving that those 10,000 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work'.
This is just one story but there are countless others of entrepreneurs failing numerous before they achieved SUCCESS. They failed, once, twice or more, but they just kept on trying. I find that many people don’t overcome obstacles because they only try one or two ways to overcome it, and if these don’t work, they give up. If a solution doesn’t solve your problem, look at the problem again, try to understand why that solution did not work, and find another one. Or sometimes, its just giving it time.
Whatever obstacles stands in front of you in achieving SUCCESS, it’s always certain that you can overcome them. The trick is to apply a few smart and effective strategies. With clarity, detachment, learning, and persistence, you can go a very long way in a very short time.
